Description:

As the number of dual language students in our schools is increasing rapidly, there is

increased pressure to provide a valid assessment of these students. The focus of this

professional development is to provide a framework for the assessment of culturally and

linguistically diverse students and discuss relevant issues and methods of assessment.

This PD will include an exploration of the characteristics of the dual-language student

and tools that you can use to determine if they present with a difference or a disorder.
