Transition Leader Job-Alike Group

Earn up to 10 PDPs! This Job-alike Group will provide educators and related service providers who work with transition-aged students with disabilities an opportunity to learn, share, reflect and network with other professionals in similar roles and settings. This group will focus on transition planning and how to navigate a successful transition from school to post-school life for students with disabilities. This group will meet five times during the 2021-22 school year, and topics of discussion will be identified by participants, and presented by the facilitators. Participants will then have the opportunity to reflect on issues that arise when working with transition-aged students and share different experiences, ideas and resources. Please join colleagues who share similar experiences,passions and interests through this Job-alike group for professionals working in the transition-aged field.

Professional Practices Symposium for Behavior Analysts: Developing Effective ABA Programs in Public School Systems

This monthly symposium is offered in partnership with MassABA and is designed for BCBAs currently practicing within the framework of local public school districts. Participants will discuss the unique challenges that Behavior Analysts face in developing quality behavioral programming for students with special needs in public school settings. Expert speakers will join group meetings periodically throughout the year to address relevant topics that BCBAs face in their districts. Participants will engage in group initiatives to help standardize the role of ABA practitioners in schools and streamline the delivery of ABA services. *The Behavior Analyst Certification Board (“BACB”) does not sponsor, approve, or endorse ACCEPT Education Collaborative, the materials, information, or sessions identified herein.

This Job-Alike Group will provide Curriculum Directors/Assistant Superintendents an opportunity to network, learn together, share resources and ideas and to build a community. Please join colleagues in an active pursuit of collaborative professional development. Our model will focus on collegial sharing of effective strategies to address current challenges in district instructional leadership. Topics of discussion will be identified and facilitated by participants, with the goal of strengthening individual practice to benefit districts overall.

Preschool & Early Elementary Director’s Job-Alike

This Job-Alike Group will provide Preschool Directors an opportunity to network, learn together, share resources and ideas and to build a community of Early Childhood Administrators who have the same passion, drive and interest in improving their practice. This group will be focused on current problems of practice that are generated from within the group. The Facilitator will provide structures and approaches to problem solving that will result in a safe learning community for all involved.

Please join colleagues in an active pursuit of collaborative professional development. Topics of discussion will be identified and facilitated by participants, with the goal of strengthening individual practice to benefit districts overall.
DEI & SEL Directors Job-Alike Group 

This Job-Alike group will provide DEI and/or SEL Directors an opportunity to network, learn together, share resources and ideas and to build a community. Experienced Directors as well as Directors new to the role are welcome to join the group to work with colleagues in an active pursuit of collaborative professional development. Our model will focus on collegial sharing of effective strategies to address current challenges in district instructional leadership. Topics of discussion will be identified and facilitated by participants, with the goal of strengthening individual practice to benefit districts overall.

WITHDRAWAL POLICY

Written withdrawals addressed to ACCEPT via mail, fax or email will be accepted without penalty ten (10) business days prior to the workshop. After that time, there will be no refunds or billing adjustments, however, you may send a substitute if approved by your supervisor. Once the class begins Districts are responsible for the cost of the program regardless of attendance.
