Major Programs and Services

Special Education Program
Every day, in all of our classrooms, we deliver high quality, individualized, and intensive instruction and related services in a nurturing and supportive environment resulting in improved levels of student achievement and independence. Our programs serve students with moderate to severe disabilities.

Specialized Transportation Services
Since 1978, ACCEPT Education Collaborative has provided regional specialized transportation services for member school districts.  ACCEPT provides safe, reliable, efficient and cost effective transportation services for more than 400 students with specialized needs door to door to over 90 locations on-time each day.

Parent Training 
ACCEPT provides home-based training to teach parents the skills necessary to maximize social, behavioral and educational
functioning of their children at home and in the community.

Behavioral and Educational Consultation Services
We provide board certified behavioral and educational consultation to districts to build capacity for schools to educate
students with disabilities in inclusive settings.

Professional Development
We deliver high quality professional development to over 1500 educators each year to narrow the achievement gap and improve outcomes for diverse learners and students with disabilities.

Educational Technology  
We provide over 700 middle and high school students each year with innovative on-line courses through the ACCEPT/VHS Consortium. We provide cooperative purchasing for Internet services, hardware and software.

Medicaid and E-rate Reimbursement   
We provide Medicaid and E-rate reimbursement services, resulting in over 4 million dollars reimbursed to school districts
and towns each year.

ACCEPT Partnership for 21st Century Teaching and Learning
This exciting and challenging forum allows educators to share new technologies and approaches to curriculum, instruction, and assessment.  Educators learn to prepare students for life and work in an increasingly technological and complex global economy.
