Consultation Services to Schools

Accept offers a variety of educational and behavioral consultation services to help schools build their capacity to serve students with autism spectrum disorders, behavioral disorders, intellectual impairments and developmental disabilities. Highly qualified and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) are available to work with schools on a short- or long-term basis.  Consultation Services include:
Teacher Consultation
Consultation may include strategies to promote generalization of skills, classroom accommodations, integrating specialized curricula and development of behavioral supports. The individual needs of students and their classrooms determine the focus of these services.

Positive Behavior Intervention Plans
Using a team approach, these plans are developed to address the maladaptive behaviors that interfere with learning. Plans are designed to meet the unique needs of the student, staff and the classroom environment.

School-based Discrete Trial Teaching
These programs are designed for students who require a more intensive teaching methodology.

Educational and Behavioral Evaluations
ACCEPT’s Board Certified Behavior Analysts conduct student evaluations, including functional behavior assessments (FBA), and ABLLS-R, adaptive behavior scales and social skills assessments.
On-site Customized Professional Development Workshops
