Welcome to ACCEPT
Letter from the Executive Director
Welcome to ACCEPT Education Collaborative! For more than 40 years we have been working with MetroWest school districts to provide innovative programs and services for students, parents, educators, and districts. Our hallmark is strength through collaboration; sharing expertise and ideas across districts and responding to evolving needs. Our quality comes from the amazing professional staff we hire for their hearts and their minds. They bring compassion, skill, and experience to our programs and services, every day.
Joy at ACCEPT comes from the look of pride and accomplishment on the faces of our students and their parents when they discover their potential, overcome challenges large and small, and succeed. Thanks to the opening of our new Center for Learning and Growth at 4 Tech Circle in Natick, we are poised to offer even more students opportunities to succeed in the years ahead.
Our new 36,000 square foot Center has customized and specialized spaces with classrooms, offices, our transportation operations, and professional development spaces. It’s a beautiful, light-filled space that allows us to extend our impact and reach. Beyond our Center we have classrooms at every level in public schools, providing support for students to participate in inclusion opportunities.
We could not have opened our beautiful new Center without the amazing new partnerships we formed. We are grateful to the many funders, neighbors, our construction team, local businesses, artist in residence, and so many friends and family who continue to donate books, beautiful furniture, store fixtures, restaurant equipment, time, and more. The energy of our students, the generosity of so many individuals and corporations who believe in our work and share our vision, and the spirit of our highly qualified teaching staff brings our Center alive. Please visit our Annual Report to learn more about our generous partners.
As we go forward, we are poised for so much more. Our students inspire us every day. Families entrust us to provide the best possible academic, therapeutic, and vocational options. Districts appreciate our flexibility, creative problem solving, and responsiveness.
We invite you to peruse our website, visit our new Center for Learning and Growth, and join our ongoing quest to evolve, improve, and respond to the needs of the unique learners we serve. We want you, too, to experience the ACCEPT Advantage.
Marcia J. Berkowitz, Ed.M, M.Ed.
